Did you know the City of Winnipeg offers “Community Recycling Depots” for recyclable blue box items such as cardboard, old beverage containers, plastic and aluminum.
Today we will focus on cardboard. If you’ve moved into a new home a common waste that occurs is the cardboard from all the new appliances, boxes and the left over moving boxes. You can haul it to the 4R Depot at Brady Landfill or to other City of Winnipeg depots around Winnipeg to recycle the cardboard, free of charge.
The Brady Road location is the site of the landfill as well, below are the other 4 locations across Winnipeg. As always call 311 to confirm the information posted here is current.
